Yesterday’s Results for Sacramento Kings vs Dallas Mavericks

Analysis: My selection is on Dallas minus the points over Sacramento at 8:10 pm et on Monday. I think bettors will be looking for reasons to fade the Mavericks as they check in off three straight 'upset' wins over the Heat, Thunder and Rockets. We'll go the other way and lay the points with Dallas at home as I do think the Kings are 'that bad' right now. Sacramento had a brief offensive surge but that came to an end on Saturday as it connected on just 35-of-86 field goal attempts in a blowout loss in Memphis. Defensively, the Kings remain a mess. They've allowed all six opponents to connect on 42 or more field goal attempts this season and it's only gotten worse lately as their last three foes have knocked down 49, 50 and 47 field goals. Dallas is the wrong team to be facing right now as it has been incredibly efficient offensively so far this season, making good on more than 40 field goal attempts in all six games. Defensively, the Mavs got off to a slow start but they've since turned it around, limiting three straight and four of their last five opponents to 41 or fewer made field goals. The lone outlier over that stretch came in a difficult back-to-back situation against a Spurs team that was seeting off consecutive losses to open the season. Take Dallas (8*).
