Yesterday’s Results for Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia 76ers

Analysis: My selection is on Philadelphia minus the points over Chicago at 7:40 pm et on Monday. The Bulls have played six games so far this season and have produced just two efficient offensive efforts, those coming in a 132-125 win in Milwaukee and a 133-127 loss in New York. They were able to get out and run in both of those contests, hoisting up 90+ field goal attempts. That's something they figure to have a difficult time doing here as they head to Philadelphia to face a 76ers team that has held four straight opponents to 87 or fewer field goal attempts and six of seven foes to fewer than 40 made field goals. The Sixers offensive numbers won't jump off the page but they've been playing at a relatively slow pace. I think the opportunity to push the tempo against the Bulls will be too difficult to pass up on Monday, however. Chicago has allowed five of six opponents to get off 92+ field goal attempts and all six of its opponents have made good on 42 or more. While the pace hasn't been there, Philadelphia has reached 40 made field goals in two of its last three contests despite getting off just 87, 75 and 86 attempts over that stretch. In a faster-paced environment, I think it's only a matter of time before the Sixers pull away on Monday. Take Philadelphia (8*).
