- Our selection is on the Denver Nuggets to defeat the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday at 9:10pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:
Portland just beat Utah by 22 points. But, it's dealing with the injury of Ja Morant who will miss some time.
The Trail Blazers are still quite a strong team this year with the growth of Avdija and the return of Dame. But, this is a tough road matchup against a title contender.
Denver hasn't started the season amazingly. But, it's still got Jokic, who's definitely ready to pick up his level.
The Nuggets shot the three ball really well against Phoenix last time out. Those shots should continue to fall here.
We're on Denver at home.
