- Our selection is on the Gonzaga Bulldogs to defeat the Purdue Boilermakers on Monday at 7:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:
Purdue lost all four of it's top scorers from last season in Smith, Kaufman-Renn, Cluff and Loyer.
The Boilermakers are a big team again this season with multiple seven footers. But, that shouldn't be too much of a problem for the Zags.
Gonzaga plays strong and is really well coached under Mark Few.
The Bulldogs return one of the top players in the country with Brayden Huff who is looking to establish himself early this year.
