Sometimes it's difficult to predict winners so early in the season with a lot of the players never having played a single minute before. So many moves in the offseason with the transfer portal has teams looking completely different than last season. That being said, I'm expecting this "battle of Florida" to be a complete mismatch. Florida A&M is coming into this season off a mediocre 15-16 season. The Rattlers began last year with losses against South Florida, Kennesaw State, UCF & Georgia by 35, 20, 27 & 30 points though. Florida State finished last season extremely well, winning nine of its final 11 regular season games. The Noles are revamped, and have a monster inside in Marcis Ponder who will be a game changer this season. I expect him to dominate the glass and that should lead to a destruction on opening night.
