- Both Davidson and Washington State severely retooled their rosters in the offseason. For Washington State, that's a good thing. They went just 12-20 SU in 2025-26. You'll want to be on the lookout for the new backcourt of Harrell, Jones and Phillips. They should force plenty of turnovers in this season opening game vs. Davidson, leading to some easy fast break opportunities. I also think 6'8" Ronnie Harrison can have his way down low for the Cougs. He'll be helped out by a couple of new transfers - Dembele from UNLV and Kropp from Northwestern. Tough spot for Davidson having to go out West for a late night start to begin the season. They bring just one starter back from last year. Washington State was 9-6 SU at home last season.
