Playing their first Friday night regular-season home game since 1941, the Red Raiders will try to extend their nine-game home winning streak when the No. 22 Cougars visit Lubbock. Houston opened the season by handling Oregon State and Southern, but this road test should be a much tougher challenge for head coach Willie Fritz and his team.

Kudos to Houston for racking up the 14th best road winning percentage in the country with an 18-12 SU record. That performance in noted. However, when priced as a single digit underdog and arriving off a double-digit straight up victory, the Cougars have struggled inking a pitiful 8-26-1 SU and 12-22-1 ATS record including a rough 3-21-1 SU and 7-18 ATS in this setting fighting a foe that slips in off a straight up win. With those two parameters in play and UH holding a team won/loss percentage of .350 or higher, this angle falls to a poor 3-19 SU and 5-17 ATS. Coach Fritz and his crew fit all three parts of that negative wagering situation.
