You can make an argument with the Dodgers and the low price, but I’m still siding with the Cubs and slight plus money. The Dodgers are coming off an unimpressive week, and Wrobleski’s allowed batting average jumps from a .181 at home to a .255 on the road. Matthew Boyd gets the ball for the Chicago Cubs, and he is 6-1 with a 3.41 ERA and 60 strikeouts this season. Boyd is 2-1 with a 3.72 ERA and 19 strikeouts in his career against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Cubs are not only playing winning ball, but additionally, Boyd is coming off a July where he allowed 23 hits and 6 runs in 32.1 innings. Big statement series for the Cubs, and there should be a packed house. I’ll take the Cubs at the more favorable price.
