Ian Seymour (7-3, 4.37 ERA) vs. Michael Lorenzen (3-9, 6.54 ERA) .
After losing the weekend set with the White Sox, I'm expecting much better from the Rays in this series against the Rockies. His ERA might be nothing great. But, Ian Seymour actually has solid numbers this year. He wasn't able to get the (W) in last outing. However, he went 4.2 innings and allowed no runs in a 3-0 win.
On the other hand, Michael Lorenzen has some pretty bad stats. I do always say that it's difficult to pitch here at Coors. But, it's one thing to be bad at home. It's another thing to have bad numbers both away and at home. He's allowing a .354 OBA this season in all games and has a 1.81 WHIP. Tampa should win this one with ease.
Burns' Prediction: 9-2 Rays.
