Michael McGreevy (3-5, 2.99 ERA) vs. Seth Lugo (2-4, 3.86 ERA) .
While I actually have yet to play on the St. Louis Cardinals this season (outside of a FREE SELECTION,) I believe that there's tremendous value on them here this evening. With Michael McGreevy on the bump this evening, I expect St. Louis to be able to limit runs from the Royals on Friday. Despite his record, he's been stellar all season long with a sub 3.00 ERA & a 1.11 WHIP.
On the other hand, Seth Lugo gets the nod for the Royals. Kansas City currently is tied for the worst record in the American League, sitting in the firth spot in the AL Central Division. With Lugo on the bump, he's 1-3 with a 4.06 ERA in home games. Lugo is also coming off the IL which isn't always easy for some pitchers. This is a good spot for the Cardinals to continue the excellent play of this season so far. Hammer STL.
