- I love the way the Tampa Bay Rays continue to keep pace with the New York Yankees, as the two have both won four in a row. The Rays, however, have 10 of their last 11, a bit better long term, with an offense that is hitting .248 and averaging nearly four runs per game. The strength during this 10-1 run has been the pitching staff, which has allowed an average of just 1.3 runs per game in that span. And I'd rather back Drew Rasmussen (2-1, 2.64) than Toronto Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman (2-2, 3.10). And let me keep it real, I'm fading Gausman a bit more, as he's 8-9 with a 4.06 ERA in 26 career outings against the Rays. With Tampa Bay finding ways to win, I like it to decimate Gausman and continue its winning ways.
