- The Atlanta Braves are getting the plus price tonight, and I think this is a mistake with the pitching matchup they have against the Seattle Mariners. The NL East-leading Braves are 13-5 away from home, they lead the league with a plus-80 run differential and they're sending Bryce Elder to the mound. Elder is 3-1 with a 1.88 ERA through seven starts this season, and should be hungry after two quality starts ended with a no-decision. He's been excellent all season, though, and should bring his best stuff against the rather quiet Mariners, who are tied with the fourth-lowest batting average (.230) this season. Seattle is going with George Kirby, who is 4-2 with a 3.00 ERA on the year, but who is 9-14 with a 4.38 ERA in 28 career Interleague starts. Give me the Braves, as they're going to grab this road win.
