The Avalanche vented their frustrations in a 5-0 win in Detroit on Saturday. I'm confident we'll see the Red Wings put forth a much better effort in Monday's rematch in Denver. Detroit has now lost three straight games, with all three of those defeats coming on home ice. Heading out on the road might be the best thing for the Red Wings right now. They're 14-12-4 away from home this season, where they've outscored opponents by an average margin of 0.2 goals. Of course the Avs have been the best team in hockey this season but that hasn't necessarily been the case lately - far from it, in fact. You would have to go back to January 8th and 10th to find the last time they won consecutive games. They're a disappointing 5-8 over their last 13 contests. Take Detroit +1.5 goals (10*).
