Yesterday’s Results for Bethune Cookman vs Alabama A&M

Analysis: MEAC Game of the Month. My selection is on Bethune-Cookman minus the points over Alabama A&M at 8 pm et on Monday. There's a class difference between these two teams but I don't think it's being properly reflected in the pointspread due to their overall records. Alabama A&M sports the better overall mark this season but that doesn't tell the whole story as Bethune-Cookman has faced the considerably more difficult schedule. The visiting Wildcats enter this game off five straight wins, going 3-2 ATS over that stretch. They've held three of their last five opponents to 21 or fewer made field goals and I think this is another matchup they can handle on Monday. Alabama A&M comes off a 72-65 win over Florida A&M on Saturday. The Bulldogs aren't going to overwhelm anyone offensively. They've hoisted up 58 or fewer field goal attempts in eight straight games entering Monday's contest. They were fortunate to get off to a fast start against a sleepy Rattlers team on Saturday and ultimately hung on for the victory. Note that prior to that game, the Bulldogs had allowed their previous five opponents to knock down 24, 28, 25, 30 and 24 field goals. I think the window is open for the Wildcats to take another one here. Take Bethune-Cookman (10*).
