- Our selection is on the Los Angeles Dodgers to defeat the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday at 8:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:
Los Angeles will start Yoshinobu Yamamoto -- has been a key piece of the Dodgers' powerful pitching unit this season and in the playoffs.
The Dodgers didn't have success pitching in Game One but should be a lot better and more comfortable in Game Two.
They are still 14-2 over their L16 games this season including all of the postseason.
Toronto will start Kevin Gausman -- has been really strong in the playoffs too. But, this is his world series debut in his 13th year and the most pressure he's ever faced. (Yamamoto crushed it in Game Two VS New York last season in his rookie year)
The Blue Jays lost twice in the ALDS at home and have lost eight of the L11 home games against the Dodgers.
