- My selection is on the 'under' between Akron and Buffalo at 1 pm et on Saturday.
Buffalo has secured consecutive wins on the strength of its offense, scoring 59 points in posting back-to-back 'over' results. I look for a different story to unfold on Saturday, however. Akron put up 28 points in a high-scoring losing effort at Ball State last time out. It's been a case of feast-or-famine for the Zips this season. Remember, they opened the season with consecutive shutout losses and they've had two other games where they've been held to seven points or less. Buffalo has scored 17 points or less in three of its seven contests so far this season. I think we're in for a rather sleepy affair in western New York on Saturday afternoon. Take the under (8*).
