The disrespect continues for Northwestern. Coming off a 19-0 win last weekend and having won four consecutive games, the Wildcats are now 5-2 this season and are playing some of the best defense that NU football has ever seen. They have allowed only 15.1 PPG this season and have also been one of the best rushing teams in the country.
On the other hand, Nebraska really struggled against a good defensive team in Minnesota last weekend. Yes, that game was on the road in a tough Gopher environment. However, Raiola got sacked nine times a week ago and has been under pressure all season long. I don't believe that the Cornhuskers will be able to win this game by more than a touchdown if they happen to win. I wouldn't be shocked whatsoever if NU pulls off this upset.
Also.. I'm 9-1 all time in games involving Northwestern (CFB & CBB.)
Burns' Prediction: 23-19 Northwestern.
