Yesterday’s Results for Houston vs Arizona State

Analysis: I'm taking the points with Houston. We went against ASU and won our Favorite of the Month in the Big-12 and obviously, that had a lot to do with Jeff Sims having to start at QB for the Sun Devils. Sam Leavitt returned last week but as good as they've been, the Sun Devils' biggest three wins of the season came in nail-biters, winning by a FG twice and four points in the other. The four-point win over Texas Tech was no doubt aided by the Red Raiders' starting QB missing the game. ASU's ground game has been lackluster of late, gaining just 210 yards on less than 3 yards per carry the last two weeks and Houston's defense isn't likely to give up a lot against a potentially one dimensional offense. Former Texas A&M QB Conner Weigman leads a diverse Houston offense. Weigman has thrown 11 TD passes with just two interceptions. He can also beat teams with his legs. He and RB Dean Connors combined for nearly 200 rushing yards in last week's win over Arizona. I'm on Houston plus the points. Thanks and best of luck! JB.
