Even though Texas hasn't looked completely great this season, I still firmly believe that this is one of the best teams in the country when things are clicking. The media and the casual football fan pays too much attention to the stats of Arch Manning and it's impossible for him to live up to the hype. But, having played seven games now, he should be settled in and ready for this "easier" test on the road.
Mississippi State has lost three straight games now that conference play has started. Fresh off another very tough road loss against Florida, it's hard to imagine that this team is going to keep up the hard fighting spirit very much long. The Bulldogs have one unranked opponent remaining with five games to go and that game is next week. They need two wins to make a bowl game. I don't know if they'll get it done. Texas by a touchdown or more today.
