- Inter Milan is coming into this match with a great start to the season. They are coming off of a disappointing season where they finished 2nd place in Serie A and lost in the Champions League Final as well, but they are under new management this season and will be pushing to dominate the league once again. They opened the season with a very good match as well, winning 5-0 at home against Torino. Their attack had a problem scoring goals in the Club World Cup, but they have ironed those problems out and are going to have a lot of confidence from that 1st win. They are going up against an Udinese side that has not had a great start to the season. They won their Coppa Italia match at home 2-0 against a much weaker team, but they are coming off of a 1-1 draw at home against Verona in their 1st match of the season. They do not have a very strong attack that scores a lot and they struggled to score on that awful Verona defense that was one of the worst in the league last season, only scoring 1 goal despite being the better team in that match. Their defense was not able to hold onto their lead either and that is going to be a big problem here in their 1st away match as their defense will not be able to keep this potent Inter attack out of their net. Inter has momentum from that 1st win and they will carry that into this 2nd home match against a much weaker opponent to start the season.
