- Our selection is on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to defeat the Miami Florida Hurricane on Sunday at 7:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:
Notre Dame lost it's quarterback, but has a really good replacement (CJ Carr ~ former No. 4 QB recruit in 2024 by 247Sports.)
The Fighting Irish do bring back Jeremyiah Love -- might be the best runningback in College Football.
They also have one of the best defenses again this year with very good linebackers and tacklers.
Miami brings in Beck from Georgia and will be competitive still in the ACC.
But, the Hurricanes lost some important games last year with Ward (No. 1 overall pick this past draft.) -- versus GT and Syracuse.
We don't think they'll be as good this season and we'll go with ND on the road in week one.
