Now they will be looking to rebound this season, but the offense has made a lot of changes and is going to look different with some new pass catchers. They also had one of the worst defenses in the league last year, so they need to make a lot of improvements on that side of the ball. The Eagles did lose one of their best players with Brown getting traded away, but that could be a blessing in disguise for them and they aren't really poised to take a step back this year with the talent they have. They are still going to be one of the best teams in the NFL this season with their defense being a key reason why. The Commanders are going to have trouble against this Eagles defense and the Commanders still have a long way to go on defense themselves. The best way to place a bet here is on the Eagles to cover the spread in this game.
