Virginia Tech vs Georgia Tech Prediction

The current betting odds have Virginia Tech listed as a 14.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Virginia Tech has looked terrible in their games this season with their 2-4 record overall and their 1-1 conference record which has them lower in the ACC. They have had some bad losses this season and they are off a 30-23 loss at home to Wake Forest who is one of the worst teams in the ACC this year, but they have started to show some life in these games. They have already fired their head coach this season, but they did pull off an upset win over NC State the week before and they are showing some fight under their interim coach. Meanwhile, Georgia Tech has looked great in their games this season with their 5-0 record overall and their 2-0 conference record which has them right near the top of the ACC. They are starting to look like a threat in the ACC this year and they do have a big upset win over Clemson, but Clemson hasn't looked that good to start the season and GA Tech has been playing in a lot of close games this year. They are coming out of their bye week so they do have an advantage in this one, but their last game was also a 30-29 win over Wake Forest who is one of the worst teams in the ACC. They were also playing from behind that entire game and needed a comeback along with OT just to get the win. GA Tech does have a really good team in the conference, but they play in a lot of close games and VA Tech is going to show some fight against a ranked opponent. The best way to place a bet here is on Virginia Tech to cover the spread in this game.

Virginia Tech Georgia Tech Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, October 11, 2025 (3:30 pm ET start time) is GA Tech 30 VA Tech 21.

Notable Quotes

“There are all kinds of moments in the game that I thought both sides of the ball and on special teams had big plays happen. We’ve got to continue to keep building on those, correct the things that we can correct, get back on the practice field, and go back to work.” - Philip Montgomery after his team’s win against WF in their last game.

“The one thing I’ll say about this team: For 60 minutes and then some, there still was not one person on that sideline who didn’t believe we were going to win the football game." - Brent Key after his team’s win against WF in their last game.
