Rangers vs Mariners Prediction

The current betting odds have the Rangers listed as a slight favorite in this game. The Rangers have been playing a lot better than the Mariners have been since coming out of the All-Star break. The Rangers have been inconsistent but they have still been winning some games between their losses while the Mariners have just been consistently bad in their games, getting swept by the Astros right out of the break and finally getting their first win against the Rangers on Monday. They even won that game in a close one, winning 3-2 but the Rangers are going to be out for their revenge here. They have lost 5 straight games to the Mariners now, losing the series opener here and also getting swept by them in a 4-game series leading up to the All-Star break. Jon Gray is starting for the Rangers here and he has been very good in his last few starts as he has been getting better and better as the season goes on. He has been lights out recently and the Mariners offense is not as hot now as it was, they will struggle to score on him here. The Mariners have Gonzales starting here and he has been good this season but he is coming off of a bad start and this Rangers offense has been scoring runs recently. The Rangers will have a fire lit under them for the rest of this series. The best way to place a bet here is on the Rangers to win this game.
