Now they will have Mariota starting who isn't terrible, but he didn't really keep the team afloat last season when Daniels was out. They also had one of the worst defenses in the NFL last year and haven't improved much. The Seahawks, on the other hand, have one of the best defenses in the NFL and they are coming off a 31-7 win over the Cardinals in their last one. They looked a lot better in that game than they did in week 1 and they have been playing with their backup QB for most of the season, losing Darnold early in week 1. They proved last week that it doesn't matter who their QB is and that offense has the talent to put up points on this bad Commanders defense. The Commanders already look like a disaster season is coming for them and that offense led by Mariota isn't going to get much done against this Seahawks defense. The best way to place a bet here is on the Seahawks to cover the spread in this game.
