Seahawks vs Cardinals Prediction

The current betting odds have the Cardinals listed as a 3.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Cardinals have looked good in their games this season with their 1-0 record overall so far. They haven't played any home games yet and will be playing their home opener here. Meanwhile, the Seahawks have looked good in their games this season with their 1-0 record overall so far. They haven't played any road games though and will be playing their 1st road game of the year here. The Seahawks are coming off a 13-10 win over the Patriots in their last one and their defense looked great in that win, but their offense did not. Sam Darnold left the game early with an injury and Drew Lock had a lot of trouble getting them going until late in the game. Lock ended up doing enough on offense to get them the win, but the defense really picked the team up late in that game and set themselves up to win that one. Now Darnold will be missing this game and the Cardinals looked really good in their 1st game of the Mike LaFleur era. They pulled off a 26-14 upset win over the Chargers who are a playoff team and they won that game on the road too. The defense did a lot of good things to give the Chargers issues and the offense does have some talent in it too. They can actually run the ball now with their new draft pick and there is plenty of talent for Brissett to throw the ball to. The Cards are entering this game with a ton of momentum from that unexpected win and they did play the Seahawks really tough in both games last season when the Cardinals were a lot worse. Look for the Cardinals to take advantage of Darnold being out and pull off another upset win over the Super Bowl champions as the Seahawks offense continues to have issues. The best way to place a bet here is on the Cardinals to cover the spread in this game.
