49ers vs Texans Prediction

The current betting odds have the 49ers listed as a 1.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The 49ers have looked great in their games this season with their 5-2 record overall which has them right at the top of the NFC West. They have an advantage in the NFC West with their 3-0 division record this season, but it is still a really competitive division so they can't afford to slow down at all. They are off a 20-10 win over the Falcons in their last one and even with their injuries piling up, they continue to find ways to get the job done each week. Meanwhile, the Texans haven't looked good in their games this season with their 2-4 record overall which has them right near the bottom of the AFC South. They got off to a slow start this season which would normally be fine in this division, but the Colts and the Jaguars both having good starts to the season has put the Texans in a bad situation as the pressure starts to build. They aren't in a good situation here either, coming off a 27-19 loss to the Seahawks on Monday night so they are coming back from the West coast on a shorter week. The Texans do have a really good defense that is one of the best in the NFL this year as they don't give up many points, but the offense has been a big issue for them. Their offense hasn't looked good at all this season and they don't really have a solid RB to lean on either. This is a bad situation for the Texans coming back home against a more stable team. The best way to place a bet here is on the 49ers to cover the spread in this game.

49ers Texans Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, October 26, 2025 (1:00 pm ET start time) is 49ers 21 Texans 13.
