Oregon vs Northwestern Prediction

The current betting odds have Oregon listed as a 27.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Oregon has looked great in their games this season with their 2-0 record overall. They have blown out both opponents they have played so far and they look like they are once again a top team in the nation. They did open the season with a team from the FCS, but they played the team that went to the FCS Championship last year and blew them out of the water. They just beat Oklahoma State 69-3 in their last game now and even though this is their first road game of the season, it isn't going to be much of a test for them. Meanwhile, Northwestern hasn't looked great in their games this season with their 1-1 record overall. They just beat Western Illinois at home 42-7, but they got embarrassed in week 1 with a 23-3 loss on the road to Tulane. They are one of the worst teams in the Big Ten this season and couldn't even move the ball in week 1 against one of the best group of 5 teams in the nation. Now they have to play one of the best teams in the nation and a true contender to win the Big Ten. Northwestern isn't going to put up much of a fight against Oregon, even being at home, and Oregon is playing this season with something to prove. The best way to place a bet here is on Oregon to cover the spread in this game.

Oregon Northwestern Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, September 13, 2025 (12:00 pm ET start time) is Oregon 49 Northwestern 10.

Notable Quotes

“I get excited when we play to the level we're capable of playing. And you may not realize it looking at it, but there's still some moments that I certainly want back. We had five penalties in the first half. In the second half we had one — that's our standard. But it's fun to win, right?” - Dan Lanning after his team’s win against Oklahoma State in their last game.

“He showed up at Sunday's practice flying around. I mean buzzing around on Monday, confident, resilient, excited to bounce back for this team.” - David Braun after his team’s win against Western Illinois in their last game.
