Jets vs Buccaneers Prediction

The current betting odds have the Buccaneers listed as a 7 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Buccaneers have looked great in their games this season with their 2-0 record overall which has them right at the top of the NFC South. They have been the team to beat in the NFC South the last few years, and they have already pulled off 2 tough road wins to start the season. They got out of Atlanta with a late win in week 1 and they are off another late comeback win against the Texans in their last one. They needed a last second TD to win that one against the Texans, but they were leading for most of that game and were the team in control. The defense looks a lot better than it did last season and even though the offense hasn't looked great yet, they have played 2 really tough defenses and will look better in this home opener. Meanwhile, the Jets haven't looked good in their games this season with their 0-2 record overall. They looked really good in week 1 even though they lost a close game to the Steelers 34-32, but they left everything they had in that game as they are off a 30-10 loss to the Bills at home in their last one and were never even in that game. The offense was terrible as Field couldn't do anything at all, and now they could be without him here, but Taylor didn't look that great when he came in either. The Jets are also supposed to have a much better defense, but they have been getting steamrolled in the first 2 games and this is a good opportunity for the Bucs to have a much needed offensive explosion at home. The best way to place a bet here is on the Buccaneers to cover the spread in this game.
