Jets vs Patriots Prediction

The current betting odds have the Patriots listed as a 7.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Patriots have looked good in their games this season with their 3-2 record overall which has them right near the top of the AFC East. They have looked great on their home field too with their 2-0 home record this season. Meanwhile, the Jets haven't looked great in their games this season with their 3-2 record overall which has them right near the bottom of the AFC East. They haven't been a great road team either with their 1-2 road record this year. The Jets are coming off a 17-12 win over the Browns in their last one and finally picked up a win after losing 3 games in a row, but it was also a really ugly win against a team that isn't that great. The defense has made a lot of strides for the Jets this season, looking a lot better compared to last year, but the offense is banged up and they don't have a ton of firepower with Geno Smith leading the way. The Patriots have a young QB who is very dynamic though and he has looked a lot better in their last 2 games after starting the season really shaky. The Patriots have some momentum now with 2 wins in a row and that offense has looked a lot better lately, putting up a ton of points despite missing some key players still. They are coming off a 45-17 win over the Raiders in their last one and the defense has still looked really good this season too. The Patriots have looked like a different team in their home games this year and their much stronger offense will be the deciding factor in this one. The best way to place a bet here is on the Patriots to cover the spread in this game.
