They did pick up a road win in week 1, but that was against the Titans who look like one of the worst teams in the NFL again, and that loss to the Packers wasn't great either with the Packers having a lot of trouble in their first 2 games. The Lions haven't looked any better this season as they needed OT just to beat the Saints by 1 point in week 1 and then went on the road and got destroyed by the Bills 41-31. Their defense couldn't stop a thing and put up no resistance to the Bills offense early on which put them in a big hole. They had chances to come back though and the offense has still looked really good in both games this year. They also played that game on the road on a short week, but now they have some extra days to figure out their issues on defense and they will come out with a better performance here. The Jets have looked a lot better in their first 2 games this season, but that offense has still had trouble putting up points and they won't be able to keep up with an angry Lions team looking to bounce back at home. The best way to place a bet here is on the Lions to cover the spread in this game.
