Giants vs Eagles Prediction

The current betting odds have the Giants listed as a 3.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Giants have looked good in their games this season with their 4-2-1 record overall which has them right at the top of the NFC East. They haven't been a great road team though with their 1-1-1 road record this year. Meanwhile, the Eagles have looked terrible in their games this season with their 2-6 record overall which has them right at the bottom of the NFC East. They haven't looked great on their home field either with their 1-3 home record this season. The Eagles had a nice 2-0 start to the season, but they have lost 6 games in a row now and the wheels have been coming off for weeks now. They didn't even look that great in the 2 games that they won, but now they are coming off a 27-10 loss to the Commanders and they look lost. Jalen Hurts is out for the season along with some offensive linemen and they have been dealing with a ton of injuries all season. McKee has been really up and down in this offense and the defense hasn't looked good at all either. The Giants have been the opposite though, losing their starting QB very early in the season, but they continue to win games. They are coming off a 27-21 win over the Texans in a game that JJ McCarthy looked great in and now they are coming out of their bye week too. They were winning games with Jameis Winston too, managing to stay at the top of the NFC East, and a lot of their good fortunes this season has just been the Harbaugh difference. They looked like a completely different franchise with Harbaugh coaching and they are going to continue to win games that they aren't supposed to, but this is a game that they should have complete control of against a collapsing Eagles team. The best way to place a bet here is on the Giants to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“I thought he did a great job. He made some great throws. I’m sure he didn’t play perfect, but he played a heck of a football game, and he deserves a lot of credit.” - John Harbaugh after his team’s win against the Texans in their last game.

“I know nobody feels sorry for us, that’s for damn sure. Everyone is going to give us their best shot. I know nobody feels sorry for us and we have to do everything we can do to fix it so we don’t have this feeling for the last six games.
