Vikings vs Giants Prediction

The current betting odds have the Vikings listed as a 3 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Vikings haven't looked great in their games this season with their 6-8 record overall which has them right at the bottom of the NFC North. They haven't been a great road team either with their 3-3 road record this year. Meanwhile, the Giants have looked terrible in their games this season with their 2-12 record overall which has them right at the bottom of the NFC East with one of the worst records in the entire NFL. They haven't looked great on their home field either with their 2-4 home record this season. The Giants are off a 29-21 loss to the Commanders in their last one and this has been a disaster of a season for them. They have a lot of young players who have shown some promise, but most of them have gotten injured, including their starting QB Dart who continues to put himself in harm's way. The Giants don't really have much left to play for at this point in the year. The Vikings have also been eliminated from playoff contention already, but they are off a win over the Cowboys in their last one and they still have lots to play for with McCarthy starting to show some promise. McCarthy hasn't looked great in a lot of his appearances, but he has looked a lot better in their last 2 games and there are a lot of benefits to him finishing the season strong and gaining a rapport with the talent around him. As bad as the Vikings have been this season, they have also played in one of the strongest divisions in the NFL, and they still have a chance to finish above .500 if they win out. The Vikings are going to have a bit more motivation in this game, and they also have a lot more talent on both sides of the ball. The best way to place a bet here is on the Vikings to cover the spread in this game.

Vikings Giants Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 21, 2025 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Vikings 31 Giants 17.
