Chargers vs Raiders Prediction

The current betting odds have the Chargers listed as a 3.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Chargers have a 1-0 record overall this season and they looked great in their season opener. They opened the season in Brazil against the Chiefs and they picked up a big win which could have big implications on the division toward the end of the year. They beat the Chiefs 27-21, but the score is a lot closer than the game actually was. The Chargers bullied the Chiefs all night on both sides of the ball, and they are going to do the same in another divisional game here. They have a lot of momentum from that win that they can carry into this game and they have extra rest on their side too. Meanwhile, the Raiders have a 1-0 record overall this season and they looked great in their season opener. They beat the Patriots on the road 20-13 and their offense looked a lot better now that they have some stability with Geno Smith. They also have a lot more talent on this offense than they have had in recent years, but they were also playing against the Patriots in week 1 who had one of the worst records in the NFL last season, and they still struggled to pull away in that one. Now they have some momentum coming into this home opener, but even with all of the big changes they made in the off-season, the Chargers have a much better team this year and will be motivated to get ahead in the division with another win. The best way to place a bet here is on the Chargers to cover the spread in this game.
