The Jaguars are entering this game with a 1-1 record overall and they have a 0-0 record in their divisional games too. They are 1-0 in their home games, 0-1 in their road games, and they are also 0-0 in their neutral site games this season, but they will be at home for this game. They lost their last game against the Cincinnati Bengals 31-27. Trevor Lawrence was the starting QB and he completed 24/42 passes for 271 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Texans vs Jaguars Prediction

The current betting odds have the Jaguars listed as a 2.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Jaguars have a 1-1 record overall and they are off their first loss of the season. They lost on the road to the Bengals 31-27, but they were leading for most of that game. They had that victory snatched away from them late so they are going to be motivated to bring their best effort here with the division up for grabs this year. Meanwhile, the Texans have looked terrible in their games this season with their 0-2 record overall. Their defense has looked good and has been keeping them in a lot of games, but their offense has looked terrible. They don't really have a solid run game with Nick Chubb and Stroud hasn't been at his best either. They are also at a disadvantage here since they played on Monday night and won't have as much time to prepare for this game as the Jags. The Jags may have lost their last game, but they looked great for most of that game as Liam Coen has them heading in the right direction in his 1st season coaching. This is a big game for the Jags at home to make a statement in the AFC South and announce themselves as a threat in a wide open division. The best way to place a bet here is on the Jaguars to cover the spread in this game.

Texans Jaguars Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, September 21, 2025 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Jaguars 23 Texans 20.
