Georgia Tech vs Wake Forest Prediction

The current betting odds have Georgia Tech listed as a 14.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Georgia Tech has looked great in their games this season with their 4-0 record overall and their 1-0 conference record which has them right near the top of the ACC. They are off a big home win over Temple in their last one and they picked up a monumental win at home over Clemson the week before. That was a big conference game for them to win as they are now a real contender to win the ACC this year, and they beat up on Temple last week too, avoiding the let down game. They have only played 1 road game this year, but they beat Colorado in a tough place to play and now they are on the road against one of the worst teams in the ACC this year. Meanwhile, Wake Forest has a 2-1 record overall this season, but it definitely isn't an impressive 2-1. They are off a bye week so they have had some extra time to regroup after losing their first game of the season at home to NC State. Their defense hasn't looked good this season and they don't have any good wins either, beating up on a team from the FCS and barely beating Kennesaw State at home 10-9. They don't have a good offense either and they are going to run into some major issues against this GA Tech defense that hasn't been giving up a ton of points. GA Tech is a true contender in this conference this season and they will show why against one of the bottom feeders. The best way to place a bet here is on Georgia Tech to cover the spread in this game.
