Georgia vs Arkansas Prediction

The current betting odds have Georgia listed as a 25.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Georgia has looked great in their games this season with their 2-0 record overall. They haven't played a road game yet and will be playing their first road game here in conference play. Meanwhile, Arkansas hasn't looked great in their games this season with their 1-1 record overall. They have looked better on their home field though with their 1-0 home record this season. Even in their 1 home win though, Arkansas didn't look that great and only put up 34 points on a team from the FCS. The defense also gave up 14 points in that one and now they are coming off a 43-10 loss to Utah. Utah is a ranked team so that's not a terrible loss, but they weren't really that competitive in the game at all. Their offense couldn't do anything and now they have to play a much better defense in this first conference game of the year. Georgia definitely hasn't tested themselves in their first 2 games, but they did destroy both opponents with ease and they are coming off a 70-20 win over Western Kentucky who is still a team from the FBS. They have been one of the best programs in CFB over the last few years and they are ranked like one of the best teams in the nation once again. On the other hand, Arkansas has been one of the worst programs in the SEC the last few years and they look like they didn't make a great hire with their new head coach. Look for Georgia to continue rolling here against one of the worst teams in the SEC. The best way to place a bet here is on Georgia to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“It’s fun when you score on every possession but is it real? Do you think we’re going to do that in SEC play? It’s all rosy and dandy until you've got to go on the road and you have to play somebody of SEC caliber." - Kirby Smart after his team’s win against WKU in their last game.

“One loss will not define us, but we were clearly not good enough tonight in all three phases. Everybody is to blame as every person in this locker room didn't do well enough.” - Ryan Silverfield after his team’s loss against Utah in their last game.
