They weren't good enough to really make a name for themselves, but they were still one of the top teams in their conference. Blake Harrell is entering his 3rd season as the head coach, but this is only his 2nd full season as head coach and he has done wonders with the team since taking over. They did lose some of their talent from last season though and they aren't in a big conference where they can just reload easily. They are still going to be a solid team in the American with the direction that Harrell has them moving in, but Alabama still has a lot more talent to work with and this is a year where they really need to prove themselves. Alabama won't take their foot off the gas in this game, especially after how they opened the season against Florida State last year, so look for Alabama to roll here as they try to run up the score in this one. The best way to place a bet here is on Alabama to cover the spread in this game.
