Cowboys vs Jets Prediction

The current betting odds have the Cowboys listed as a 3 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Cowboys haven't looked great in their games this season with their 1-2-1 record overall, but they definitely haven't been terrible. They took a bad loss in Chicago to the Bears, but they bounced back at home last week with a 40-40 tie against the Packers and they have played some really close games against better opponents this year. Their defense has been terrible and they might have the worst defense in the NFL, but they definitely have a really good offense that can put up a ton of points. Their offense is going to keep them in games and they aren't playing against a good defense in this one. Meanwhile, the Jets have looked terrible in their games this season with their 0-4 record overall which has them right at the bottom of the AFC East. They are off a 27-21 loss to the Dolphins in their last one, but that score was much closer than the actual game. The Jets struggled on offense all night, especially playing from behind, and turning the ball over has been a big issue for them all season along with penalties. This isn't a great situation for them either, playing on a short week after a Monday night game. The Cowboys are off a tie last week, but that sure felt more like a win for them and they should have some momentum coming into this one with the way the offense has looked all year. The Jets won't look as bad against this Dallas defense, but the Jets defense hasn't looked any better this season and the Jets won't be able to keep up with the Cowboys offensively. The best way to place a bet here is on the Cowboys to cover the spread in this game.

Cowboys Jets Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, October 5, 2025 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Cowboys 38 Jets 24.
