Bengals vs Dolphins Prediction

The current betting odds have the Bengals listed as a 1.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Bengals haven't looked good in their games this season with their 4-10 record overall which has them right near the bottom of the AFC North. They haven't been a good road team either with their 2-5 road record this year. Meanwhile, the Dolphins haven't looked great in their games this season with their 6-8 record overall which has them right near the bottom of the AFC East. They haven't looked great on their home field either with their 3-3 home record this season. The Dolphins had a terrible start to the season and then started to get hot, winning 4 games in a row and keeping their season alive, but now they are off a 28-15 loss to the Steelers which ended their chances of making the playoffs. Now they have officially been eliminated from playoff contention and they aren't in a great situation here, coming back home on a short week after a loss on Monday night. The Bengals are also out of the playoffs and were eliminated from contention with a 24-0 loss to the Ravens in their last one. Their offense looked terrible in that loss, but that hasn't really been an issue for them this season so that offense is going to bounce back with a better game here after getting shut out. There is too much talent for the Bengals to have another game like that here, especially since the Dolphins don't have a great defense. The best way to place a bet here is on the Bengals to cover the spread in this game.

Bengals Dolphins Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 21, 2025 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Bengals 38 Dolphins 24.

Notable Quotes

“It starts with our offense getting shut out. Never saw that coming. There’s a huge amount of accountability I have to take with that. It’s frustrating to score zero points. That’s unacceptable.” - Zac Taylor after his team’s loss against the Ravens in their last game.

“We have three (more) opportunities with this team. I think really the character of the locker room has been tested all year. My expectation is that we're going to bounce back regardless of how much it hurts.” - Mike McDaniel after his team’s loss against the Steelers in their last game.
