They managed to pick up a nice road win to start the season in week 1, but they barely beat a bad San Jose State team 16-14 and now they are coming off a really bad loss. They lost to Pittsburgh 45-17 and Pitt isn't even a good power 4 team, but they still embarrassed CMU and this game isn't going to go any better for them against a ranked opponent looking to bounce back at home. CMU will struggle to move the ball on the road against this Michigan defense and Michigan's offense is going to look a lot better at home against this defense. The best way to place a bet here is on Michigan to cover the spread in this game.
