Panthers vs Eagles Prediction

The current betting odds have the Panthers listed as a 1.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Panthers haven't looked great in their games this season with their 2-2 record overall, but that record has them right at the top of the NFC South. They haven't been a great road team either with their 1-1 road record this year. Meanwhile, the Eagles haven't looked good in their games this season with their 2-3 record overall which has them right in the middle of the NFC East. They haven't looked great on their home field either with their 1-1 home record this season. The Eagles had a really hot start to the season going 2-0, but they have lost 3 games in a row now and have been falling apart lately. They have had some really tight losses too, leading the Rams the entire game before blowing it late, and now they are coming off a heartbreaker. They lost to the Jaguars 19-17 and they kicked a field goal to take a 17-16 lead over the Jaguars with 8 seconds left in the game, but that was still too much time and they went on to lose. That game was also in London, so now they are coming back from that international game and might not be fully adjusted for this one. The Panthers are coming off a 32-26 win over the Lions in their last one which is going to give them a ton of momentum with their offense looking really good this season. The defense hasn't looked great, but the Eagles don't have a great offense right now that will be able to challenge this Panthers defense. The Panthers are also in a better situation here since they are coming out of their bye week too. The best way to place a bet here is on the Panthers to cover the spread in this game.

Panthers Eagles Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, October 18, 2026 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Panthers 31 Eagles 14.

Notable Quotes

“I know what kind of player he is. He's special. I always trust him. I have confidence in him and I know one (bad) practice isn't going to change that." - Bryce Young after their win against the Lions in their last game.

“I didn’t make the right decision, and I lost us that game. That’s what I said to our guys, and what hurts there is that, you know, the guys fought so hard and then I don’t make the decision that, you know, that I should make at the end of the game, and I cost us that game, and I put that fully on me.” - Nick Sirianni after his team’s loss against the Jaguars in their last game.
