Meanwhile, the Panthers didn't have a good season either. They went 5-12 overall and did have a better record than the Jags, but they were still a disaster on the field. Their offense did look better last season as Bryce Young started to get into a groove in his 2nd year, but the team still lacks a lot of talent on offense. They also had one of the worst defenses in the NFL last season which was their biggest problem and they aren't going to be that much improved this season. The Panthers will be looking to take a step this season, but this is still a bad roster that doesn't have the talent that the Jaguars have and the Jaguars will be looking to bounce back after a down season plagued by injuries. The best way to place a bet here is on the Jaguars to cover the spread in this game.
