They have a really good defense too, but even with all of the talent on defense, they were prone to giving up a lot of points in some of their games last season. They had a really strong start to the season last year, coming out with some blowout wins against weaker opponents, but it was only 2 years ago that they had trouble opening up the season, struggling with FCS school Idaho and barely beating Boise State at home by 3 points. Boise State put up a really good fight at Oregon just 2 years ago and this is still a team that views themselves as a playoff worthy program, so they are not going to roll over for a team like Oregon. Boise State will be able to put up points here and keep this score respectable. The best way to place a bet here is on Boise State to cover the spread in this game.
