The Rams attempt to rebound from their 27-7 upset loss against the San Francisco 49ers in Australia as a 3.5-point favorite on September 10th. The Giants upset the Dallas Cowboys by a 28-20 score as a 3.5-point underdog last Sunday. Los Angeles is a 7-point favorite with the total set at 47.5 (all odds from DraftKings).
Major League Baseball has three games scheduled. The Baltimore Orioles play at home against the Toronto Blue Jays at 6:35 p.m. ET. The Orioles are on a three-game losing streak after a 13-0 loss at home against the Milwaukee Brewers last night. They are in last place in the AL East with a 75-81 record. They trail the Tampa Bay Rays in first place by 20 1/2 games. The Blue Jays ended a two-game losing streak with a 7-2 victory at Texas against the Rangers on Sunday. With their 77-79 record, they are in fourth place in the AL East, trailing the Rays by 18 1/2 games. Baltimore gives the ball to Shane Baz to pitch against Toronto’s Trey Yesavage, who is coming off the injured list. The Orioles are a -111 money-line favorite with an over/under of 7.5.
The Detroit Tigers are at home to take on the Washington Nationals on Peacock at 6:40 p.m. ET. The Tigers lost for the third time in their previous four games in a 3-1 loss in Chicago against the White Sox on Sunday. They are in fourth place in the AL Central with a 73-83 record, trailing the first place Cleveland Guardians by eight games. The Nationals had won two games in a row before a 5-3 loss in St. Louis against the Cardinals yesterday. Their 73-83 record puts them in fourth place in the NL East, 19 games behind the Atlanta Braves in first place. River Ryan takes the mound for Detroit to duel against D.J. Herz for Washington. The Tigers are a -156 money-line favorite with a total of 8.
The Minnesota Twins travel to San Francisco to battle the Giants at 9:45 p.m. ET. The Twins won for the second time in their previous three games with an 8-0 victory in Los Angeles against the Angels yesterday. Their 73-83 record puts them in third place in the AL Central, eight games behind the Guardians. The Giants have lost three games in a row after a 3-1 loss in Los Angeles against the Dodgers on Sunday. With a 64-92 record, they are in fourth place in the NL West, 32 games out of first place trailing the Dodgers. Minnesota taps Zebby Matthews to challenge San Francisco’s Blade Tidwell. The Twins are a -117 money-line road favorite with an over/under of 8.
The WNBA has two games on tap. The Atlanta Dream play in New York against the Liberty on Peacock/NBC Sports Network at 8:00 p.m. ET. The Dream are on a three-game winning streak with seven victories in their last eight games after a 106-81 victory at home against the Chicago Sky as a 14.5-point favorite on Saturday. They are in first place in the Eastern Conference. The Liberty are on a three-game winning streak after their 106-69 victory in Toronto against the Tempo as a 15.5-point favorite on Sunday. With a 26-16 record, they are in third place in the Eastern Conference, three games out of first place. Atlanta is a 1.5-point road favorite with a total of 178.5.
The Dallas Wings are on the road in Phoenix to play the Mercury on the USA Network at 10:00 p.m. ET. The Wings are on a six-game winning streak after an 87-82 victory at home against the Mercury as a 10.5-point favorite on Saturday. Their 26-16 record puts them in fourth place in the Western Conference, 6 1/2 games behind the Minnesota Lynx in first place. Phoenix had won two games in a row before their loss two days ago. Dallas is a 5.5-point road favorite with an over/under of 171.5.
