Falcons vs Vikings Prediction

The current betting odds have the Falcons listed as a 3.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Falcons have a 0-1 record overall this season, but they did look good in their season opener. They lost at home to the Buccaneers 23-20, but they had a chance to win that game at the end and they are going to be a threat in the NFC South this year. They have a lot of talent on offense with Penix looking good in that first game, and the defense looked a lot better in that game too. Meanwhile, the Vikings have a 1-0 record overall after beating the Bears on Monday Night Football 27-24. They had a huge 4th quarter to win that game, but they were trailing for most of the time and that offense looked terrible to start the game. JJ McCarthy got better throughout the game, but this is still his 2nd NFL start and he has a lot to learn. The Vikings are also on shorter rest here since they played on Monday night. The defense was great as they were able to keep the Vikings in that game long enough for the Vikings offense to wake up, but they aren't going to be able to shut down this Falcons offense like that if the Vikings offense hits a snag again. The Falcons are going to be able to keep themselves in this game with that good offense and improved defense. The best way to place a bet here is on the Falcons to cover the spread in this game.

Falcons Vikings Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, September 14, 2025 (8:20 pm ET start time) is Falcons 20 Vikings 17.
