Falcons vs Cardinals Prediction

The current betting odds have the Falcons listed as a 2.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Falcons haven't looked good in their games this season with their 5-9 record overall which has them right near the bottom of the NFC South. They haven't been a great road team either with their 3-4 road record this year. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have looked terrible in their games this season with their 3-11 record overall which has them right at the bottom of the NFC West with one of the worst records in the NFL. They have looked terrible on their home field too with their 1-6 home record this season. The Cardinals have been a disaster all season with Jacoby Brissett taking over for an injured Kyler Murray and the team dealing with a ton of injuries all over. They don't have a lot of talent on offense that is still healthy, and their defense has looked terrible lately with the number of points they have been giving up in their games. They are off a 40-20 loss to the Texans in their last one and lately they haven't even looked competitive in their games. The Falcons haven't had the season they wanted and they lost their starting QB to injury too, but Cousins hasn't looked bad in this offense when he has had to play. The defense hasn't looked great lately, but they should look a lot better against this Cardinals offense. The Falcons are also off a 29-28 win over the Buccaneers in their last one so they have been showing signs of life and will have some momentum from that win. The best way to place a bet here is on the Falcons to cover the spread in this game.

Falcons Cardinals Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 21, 2025 (4:05 pm ET start time) is Falcons 27 Cardinals 17.

Notable Quotes

“Pro Football tests you. It keeps me on my knees (in prayer). It’s been a difficult two years since tearing my Achilles. All I know to do is trust and keep going and walk by faith, not by sight, and that can be hard sometimes. Nights like tonight, you get a boost.” - Kirk Cousins after their win against the Buccaneers in their last game.

“We got beat by a good football team. We didn’t play well enough, and we’re going to go back to work.” - Jonathan Gannon after his team’s loss against the Texans in their last game.
