Arizona State vs BYU Prediction

The current betting odds have BYU listed as a 16.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. BYU has looked great in their games this season with their 6-1 record overall and their 3-1 conference record which has them right near the top of the Big 12. They have looked great on their home field too with their 4-0 home record this season. Meanwhile, Arizona State has looked good in their games this season with their 4-3 record overall, but their 2-2 conference record has them right in the middle of the Big 12. They have been a terrible road team too with their 0-2 road record this year. Arizona State is coming off a 28-17 win over Kansas State in their last one, but they have been really up and down this season. Their defense looked a lot better in that game, but that hasn't been the case all season as they have been blown out in some of their losses. Their offense has also been really inconsistent and has looked a lot worse in their road games. Now they are playing one of the best teams in the conference who is also ranked like one of the best teams in the nation and they are getting that team off a tight loss too. BYU is coming off a 39-31 road loss to UCF in their last one and that wasn't a great situation for them on the road after such a big win over Notre Dame the week before. Their offense still showed up in a big way in what was supposed to be a flat spot though and they only lost the game in OT, being right there the entire game. Now they are coming back home after that loss and they are going to bring their best effort to make sure that they bounce back here. Arizona State has been a flawed team all season with an inconsistent offense and BYU does have a really good defense that can shut them down in this tough home environment. Look for BYU to bounce back big with their offense starting to roll over the last few weeks and take advantage of an inconsistent Arizona State team that has struggled in road games all year. The best way to place a bet here is on BYU to cover the spread in this game.
