Cardinals vs Colts Prediction

The current betting odds have the Colts listed as a 6.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Colts have looked great in their games this season with their 4-1 record overall which has them right at the top of the AFC South with one of the best records in the NFL. Their only loss this season was against the Rams on a last minute TD, but they could still be undefeated as that was a game where they really beat themselves. They are off a 40-6 win at home over the Raiders and they have been rolling over bad teams all season. Meanwhile, the Cardinals haven't looked good in their games this season with their 2-3 record overall which has them right at the bottom of the NFC West. They started the season 2-0 by beating up on some bad opponents, but they even struggled in those 2 wins and now they have lost 3 games in a row. They are coming off a terrible loss at home to the Titans in their last one and they blew a big lead in that game, giving the Titans their first win of the regular season. The Cardinals have been playing with fire all season, getting out to early leads the defense blowing those leads. They won't be able to do that against this Colts defense though, especially with the key players missing from their run game. The Colts are a better team at almost every position and they are going to show that in this game. The best way to place a bet here is on the Colts to cover the spread in this game.

Cardinals Colts Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, October 12, 2025 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Colts 41 Cardinals 13.

Notable Quotes

“Obviously, very disappointing. Felt like we had multiple chances to put away the game, all three phases, and we didn't do that. Collectively, we have to do a better job. Until we do a better job, we're going to keep losing.” - Jonathan Gannon after his team’s loss against the Titans in their last game.

“I think the guys are playing at a high level right now, they’re playing together. (Taylor) is the best back in the league right now. Credit to him, credit to the O-line. It starts up front, but he’s just seeing it while he’s running hard.” - Shane Steichen after his team’s win against the Raiders in their last game.
